Nicker's Need To Know Info
Lesson terms vary in length depending on the season. When signing up for lessons you are making the commitment to attend all the lessons in that session.
Attire:
- Long pants - must cover ankles
- Shirts - must reach waistband
- Closed toe shoes with a small heel
- Helmet - we have several to loan
- Hair - must be pulled back out of face
Lessons:
- Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of each lesson - late arrival may result in loss of lesson without make-up
- Please plan on staying 10 minutes after each lesson
- Riders can expect 45 minute ride time for an hour lesson
- Riders under the age of 12 must have a responsible party present at all times Riders between 12-18 must have instructor consent to be left unattended

Cancellation/Make-Ups:
- 24 hour notice is required to be eligible for a make-up lesson
- Make up lessons must be scheduled within 30 days of missed lesson
- If Nicker's Retreat, LLC cancels a lesson, a make-up lesson will be offered
- Missed make-up lessons are forfeited
- Remember that even if you missed a lesson, your instructor was here
Payments:
- Payments can be made at the farm by cash and check. Credit card payments can be made on the student portal.
- Tuition for 4 week terms are due on the 1st lesson.
Nicker's Retreat, LLC reserves the right to combine or cancel group lessons that do not meet the minimum enrollment of 2 students.
